Quick & Delicious Spaghetti

maybe you don’t need another spaghetti recipe, but maybe you do

This simple spaghetti recipes comes together in 20 minutes and can be served right away or left to simmer. It’s truly delicious either way.

Ingredients:

  • 12oz Whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1T oregano
  • 1T basil
  • 1t garlic powder
  • 1t onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Violife parmesean block, shredded

Instructions:

  1. Lightly Brown the ground beef in a stockpot.
  2. In a separate saucepan, boil water for the pasta. I recommend a dash of salt and oil in the water.
  3. Drain, and rinse if desired, the meat to reduce grease in the finished dish.
  4. Add the pasta to the water once it’s boiling.
  5. Add the onion to the meat and cook until brown. If you rinsed the meat, you may need a 1-2t of olive oil for the onion.
  6. Pour in the tomato sauce and seasonings.
  7. Drain the pasta.
  8. Stir and let simmer until it’s time to serve.
  9. Grate the Parmesan over the dish for a well balanced flavor.
  10. Serve with your favorite vegetable. We like this with roasted green beans or broccoli.
